Attorney General Pam Bondi, who was sworn in at the White House, is scheduled to arrive for her first day at the Justice Department on Wednesday.
Justice Clarence Thomas of the Supreme Court swore Bondi in as attorney general, and President Donald Trump joined her in the Oval Office.
“I will fight violent crime in this country and around the world, restore integrity to the Justice Department, and make America safe again,” Bondi declared.
On her first day in office, Bondi will take a number of quick and dramatic actions to investigate and reverse legal actions taken in order to set the tone for her tenure as the country’s top law enforcement official.
