Attorney General Pam Bondi has issued a fresh warning to far-left Texas Democratic Representative Jasmine Crockett following her series of threatening remarks directed at DOGE head Elon Musk and other Republican lawmakers.
In an interview on Fox News with host Sean Hannity, Bondi accused Crockett of “threatening lives” through her rhetoric against Musk after left-wing activists targeted Tesla dealerships.
“After she made those comments about Elon, she stated, ‘well, I didn’t mean violence,’ but your words carry consequences. And what transpired after her remarks about Elon Musk? She’s a Texan in her own home state, and after she spoke this morning, three explosive devices were discovered in Austin, Texas. Therefore, she must unequivocally denounce the violence,” Bondi remarked.
“She needs to apologize immediately, not just to all Texans, but to our nation, to the American shareholders of Tesla, as she is inciting violence. Furthermore, you displayed the clip of her comments regarding Senator Cruz. I believe she will likely face censure from Congress for those statements. People fail to learn. She is utilizing her public persona and platform to amplify her followers and enhance her significance. She is endangering lives and safety. When she made these comments about Tesla, individuals’ lives were at risk. This is America. We live in a free country, yet she continues to promote this violence within our nation. Consider all the lives that could have been endangered in Texas today due to her words and actions, but she did not stop there. She persisted with her comments about Senator Cruz. She must apologize immediately and denounce the violence,” Bondi further stated.
The attorney general continued her critique of Crockett’s rhetoric, asserting that the far-left lawmaker is advocating for “further insurrection” despite having been previously cautioned to “tread very carefully.”
“It is intriguing that these individuals cloak themselves in the First Amendment, yet they despise Elon Musk for exercising his First Amendment rights and … However, once again, words have consequences.
She stated, “However, she must promptly apologize and condemn this, as violence is occurring even in her home state following her remarks. This situation is perilous. She must be aware of its dangers, and she is inciting further insurrection on her birthday this weekend.”
Crockett faced criticism last week for stating during an online call titled “Tesla Takedown” that, “All I want to see happen on my birthday is for Elon to be taken down.”
Recently, individuals associated with Tesla have experienced significant attacks, vandalism, and doxxing.
Last week, several vehicles were set ablaze at a Tesla service center in Las Vegas. Spencer Evans, the special agent overseeing the FBI office in Las Vegas, informed reporters that the incident “certainly has some of the hallmarks” of a terrorist attack, although it remains too early to confirm this. The FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force is currently investigating the situation.
When asked by an interviewer how Democrats might secure victories in Texas, a traditionally Republican state, Crockett responded, “I think that you punch, I think that you punch, I think that you OK with punching.”
“It’s Ted Cruz,” she continued. “I mean, like this dude has to be knocked over the head, like hard, right? Like there is no niceties with him, like at all. Like you go clean off on him.”
In reaction to the video clip, the White House’s “rapid response” X account labeled Crockett as “another unhinged Democrat inciting violence.”
Crockett has asserted that her calls to action are “nonviolent” and pertain to figuratively “fighting” for democracy.
